The holidays are over, and the new year is just beginning! That means birthdays, anniversaries and special occasions, and, before we know it, the holidays will again be upon us. It seems like we never really stop buying people presents, which is great! Because that usually means there’s something to celebrate! But, sometimes, finding the perfect gift can be incredibly daunting. It can be tempting to start doling out cash last minute, especially for those teenagers and young adults who refuse to give you any help at all, but sometimes that just won’t cut it. I like to look back on some of the favorite gifts that I’ve received to help me find those perfect gifts for others.
I will be the first to admit that I do not like the cold. Unfortunately, I live in a very cold state. Also, a lot of my family and friends live here, and while I hate the cold, I love them, so it looks like I’ll be staying in-state for at least a little while longer. One thing, however, that keeps my spirits high during the cold months, is living in a cool city.
Today’s London Series post is a lot of fun. On this day, we partook in a lot of the ‘typical tourist’ things one might expect to do in London. I find that doing this in your own neighborhood or city can be a lot of fun as well (like one of my days in Detroit, here). I hope you enjoy the third installment!
For those of you who haven’t heard, I broke my hand on Christmas (how fun…). Everyone has been so great though, helping me out and taking care of me. Drew has been especially great, barely letting me lift a finger. He decided to use this opportunity to break out one of his birthday gifts.
