I am so proud of Detroit. There are so many cool things happening in the city, and so many awesome companies coming in with crazy new ideas! Among these new ideas, however, are some sweet hidden gems, including the Bon Bon Bon Chocolate Shop.
Who doesn’t love a good brunch?! That may be a very ‘millennial’ thing to say, but anyone who is going to pass up the chance to eat breakfast food & lunch food, and sip on bubbly mimosas at 11am is out of their mind.
Going out to eat might just be my favorite thing, especially to cute new (and unfortunately, expensive) restaurants. So, when a new restaurant opened up just around the corner from me, I knew where I would be going; Gran Castor.

We’ve gotten a tiny break from the freezing weather, and we’ve had just plain old cold weather. Luckily, Rochester’s Farmers Market goes indoors during the colder months, to the old fire station downtown!
