I really love to cook, so I was really excited to break out my Christmas present from Caroline (see it featured in this post). We decided that we would get together and make a day of it, which turned out to be a blast! Keep reading for some of the really yummy (and easy!) recipes we tried.
We’ve gotten a tiny break from the freezing weather, and we’ve had just plain old cold weather. Though I’m not about to retire me winter coat just yet, it does have me feeling like the end is in sight. I have major spring-fever, and what better way to pretend it’s spring than to go to a farmers market? Luckily, Rochester’s Farmers Market goes indoors during the colder months, to the old fire station downtown!
I’ve always been the kind of person who likes to celebrate everything. I can always find an excuse to go out and do something fun! So, of course, I found a reason to drag Drew to Royal Oak (my favorite!) on one of the coldest days of the year…
I have a confession: I have a major sweet tooth. There’s no use denying it. I firmly believe that the best things in life are sweet! That being said, it’s important to practice moderation…but sometimes I just can’t help it. Especially during the winter months, I like to indulge a little more, to keep morale high.
For those of you who haven’t heard, I broke my hand on Christmas (how fun…). Everyone has been so great though, helping me out and taking care of me. Drew has been especially great, barely letting me lift a finger. He decided to use this opportunity to break out one of his birthday gifts.
