I’ve always been the kind of person who likes to celebrate everything. I can always find an excuse to go out and do something fun! So, of course, I found a reason to drag Drew to Royal Oak (my favorite!) on one of the coldest days of the year…
I have a confession: I have a major sweet tooth. There’s no use denying it. I firmly believe that the best things in life are sweet! That being said, it’s important to practice moderation…but sometimes I just can’t help it. Especially during the winter months, I like to indulge a little more, to keep morale high.
The holidays are over, and the new year is just beginning! That means birthdays, anniversaries and special occasions, and, before we know it, the holidays will again be upon us. It seems like we never really stop buying people presents, which is great! Because that usually means there’s something to celebrate! But, sometimes, finding the perfect gift can be incredibly daunting. It can be tempting to start doling out cash last minute, especially for those teenagers and young adults who refuse to give you any help at all, but sometimes that just won’t cut it. I like to look back on some of the favorite gifts that I’ve received to help me find those perfect gifts for others.
I will be the first to admit that I do not like the cold. Unfortunately, I live in a very cold state. Also, a lot of my family and friends live here, and while I hate the cold, I love them, so it looks like I’ll be staying in-state for at least a little while longer. One thing, however, that keeps my spirits high during the cold months, is living in a cool city.
Today’s London Series post is a lot of fun. On this day, we partook in a lot of the ‘typical tourist’ things one might expect to do in London. I find that doing this in your own neighborhood or city can be a lot of fun as well (like one of my days in Detroit, here). I hope you enjoy the third installment!
