It may be cliché, but I am very into podcasts right now. Though I don’t have a very long commute anymore, I still turn one on every time I’m in the car. Every once in a while, I prefer listening to podcasts over music, especially while traveling, and I find that they help the time go by faster. If you’re looking for a good place to start your own podcast listening, or if you’re looking to branch out into different podcasts, hopefully my recommendations will give you some good ideas.
There is something about the new year that is so inspiring about a new year. A fresh start. A second chance (or third, or fourth…). Every January, I am encouraged to re-amp my ‘goals’ list and set my bar higher. I know that there are some people who have completely lost faith in the ‘New Year’s Resolution’, but I want to encourage you to stay positive. So what if your new resolution only lasts until the end of January? That’s one month where you lived as a healthier/happier/more organized/stronger/smarter you! The important thing is not to give up if you have a tiny set back, but to get up and try again.
I’ve been incredibly busy lately with work, camp counseling and planning my upcoming road trip (more details to come) and haven’t had much time to post. I decided that I would take the time today to share a quick post with some of my favorite bus travel pictures from tour (you can read more about that tour here, here, and here). It’s hard to know exactly where all of these pictures were taken because the miles (and the days) all seem to blur together on the open road. I do know, however, that most of these pictures were taken on I-70, which stretches from Utah to Maryland, though that’s not very specific. Also, sorry for the poor “shot through a window on a moving bus” quality, If I could have stopped and gotten out to take pictures every time that I wanted to, we may never have made it all the way back home.
